Statistics From The Fall 2008 Sale

Our mission at Neat Repeatz is to provide the community with an opportunity to earn money, save money and support local charities.   This sale has been a great success in all of these areas.

There were 505 consignors that participated in this sale and contributed over 57,000 items.  The new and expecting mom’s presale again increased the sale of the maternity and newborn items.  This presale grew substantially, maybe due to the added exposure at the OB/GYN offices.  We had many new shoppers and of course the repeat shoppers who bought close to 65% of the items.

There were many great deals and they were snatched up very quickly.  I know many of you are like me and bought your child’s whole Fall/Winter wardrobe at the sale.

The Neat Repeatz consignors and shoppers were able to raise close to $500 for the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.  When you add the amount that Neat Repeatz will match, that is a total of $1000 for this great charity.  We were also able to collect 2 tubs full of school supplies for the Elliott Community Learning Center.  Thank you for your contributions!

Hundreds of unsold items were donated to local charities.  All the charities were overjoyed to receive your donated items.  Many of the charities have family ties to our very own consignors and volunteers which makes giving even closer to our hearts.  Here is a list of charities that received your wonderful items:

·        NFAPA/ Foster Care Closet (www.nfapa.org) received items for baby through teens in foster care.  We were able to help fill up their closet for the upcoming winter.

·        Granny’s Comfy Closet, they provide children’s items to families in need in the local communities just south of Lincoln.

·        BirthRight received many maternity items.  They were so pleased to get such a variety and fashionable, too!

·        Lincoln Crisis Pregnancy Center also received many great maternity and newborn items.

Everything was received with such gratitude.  We wish everyone could be present to see how thankful these organizations are for the donations.
