Acceptable Items for the Children’s Sale
- Seasonal items (Spring/Summer items for the March Sale & Fall/Winter items for the September Sale)
- Girls clothing sizes preemie/newborn through Junior 7. All clothing must be in excellent condition and freshly laundered.
- Boys clothing sizes preemie/newborn through size 20. All clothing items must be in excellent condition and freshly laundered.
- “Like New” special occasion clothing, school uniforms, or activities clothing (like dancewear, karate uniforms, scouts uniforms, etc.)
- Shoes and boots in excellent condition, without excessive wear. Shoe Limit: 8 pairs per consignor (8 additional pairs may be checked in at additional check-in times during the sale)
- Bedding: Infant/Nursery and juvenile sheets, blankets, etc. Items must be in great condition and freshly laundered.
- Toys of all kinds. Must be clean and have all the relevant pieces. If it requires batteries, there must be working batteries in the toy.
- Gently used books for children, related to parenting, maternity, and nursing.


- Videos & DVDs (in original cases only). Must be in working order with no skips.
- Music (CDs/cassettes in cases). Must be in working order with no skips.
- Children’s computer games with instructions.
- Children’s sporting equipment such as child size tennis racquets, tee ball sets, soccer items, etc.
- Outdoor play items such as swing sets, trampolines, bikes etc. (These items will be accepted year round, but please save sleds and specifically winter items for the Fall sale.)
- Baby Gear such as swings, strollers, play gyms, high chairs, etc.
- Car seats and booster seats (You will be required to sign a form stating it has not been in an accident and is less than 5 years old).
- Nursery items such as monitors, baby baths, feeding utensils, bottles, etc.


- Baby Furniture such as cribs, changing tables, glider rockers, etc.
- Children’s furniture such as twin beds, dressers, etc.
- Maternity and nursing items such as clothing, breast pumps, nursing wear, etc.
Unacceptable Items:
- Items not in season.
- Items not tagged or packaged properly.
- Out of date clothing (our discretion).
- Unclean clothing including clothing that does not smell fresh (e.g. smells like smoke or pets.)
- Clothing that shows too much wear.
- Items with missing buttons, broken zippers, and missing parts.
- Unclean toys, equipment, furniture, or other items.
- Video tapes/DVDs/CDs/cassettes that are NOT in original cases.
- Walkers on wheels.
Any items recalled for safety issues or hazardous to children.
Metal costume jewelry or trinkets.
Books published before 1985.
Fast food kid’s meal toys.
Stuffed animals including beanie babies.
Magazines.
Books with bite marks, torn or marked-up pages including workbooks with pages filled in.
Adult clothing, furniture, tools, etc. Save these for the Annual Adult's Sale.

during the check-in process or during the sale.
